Featuring a forward facing inlet with a top-mounted airbox that feeds the fuel injection system, this innovative engine is derived from the winning YZ250F motocross bike that's been blowing away the opposition in the USA, Europe and Australia.
With its potent power characteristics and ultra-light handling, the new WR250F is about to unleash some of the most advanced engine and chassis technology ever seen in the enduro world.
- Equipped with fuel injection for harder-hitting performance and stronger low to mid range torque, the WR250F's potent new YZ250F-based engine is built to handle everything from technical rocky terrain through to full-on forest tracks. Running with enduro-specific ignition and EFI settings, this high-tech engine is ready to set the pace.
- With its lightweight aluminium bilateral beam frame and short subframe, this compact new enduro bike delivers outstanding manoeuvrability. The special mass centralised design makes for easy directional changes, and with its advanced suspension systems and long flat seat, the race-ready WR250F brings a whole new level of agility to the 4-stroke class!
- The fully adjustable suspension is one of the most advanced in its class. 48mmupside down front forks offer 310mm travel and have a separate air-oildamping system that gives consist performance all day long. And at the rearend this high-tech 250cc 4-stroke runs with a link-type Monocross rearsuspension system giving 318mm of wheel movement.
- The WR250F's transmission is equipped with a newly developed clutch that has been specially developed to handle hour after hour of punishment. And to optimise the performance of the new fuel injected engine, there's a purpose-built wide ratio 6-speed transmission.
